Dipoles for 17m/40m/75m
Single Feedline / Balun at 30'

This is a Flag pole type of arrangement, using a Rope loop through a Pulley mounted to a bent shelf bracket with Stainless Steel Hose Clamps.
Pole is 3 sections of 10' Radio Shack Mast, mounted over a 40" x 3/4" piece of galvanized water pipe driven about 2" into the ground.

Fanned arrangement of the dipoles serves a dual purpose.

  1. Works as a guy support for the 30' mast.
  2. Each band is tuned independently of the others. (I can remove any 1 or 2 of the dipoles and the remaining dipole has a good SWR - typically 1.7:1)

Small Cushcraft A3 Verticle for 10m/15m/20m

Mounted on a 10' section of radioshack mast on the corner of the Patio

Note: Bands were dead when this picture was taken, as indicated by the Buzzard seen near the top of the dipole in the distant background.
