My name is Ben Worrell, Callsign NE5B, previous call signs WB5EN(4/2002 - 5/2002), KM5OT(1/1998 - 4/2002), KC5JBE (8/1994 - 1/1998). I've been a ham radio operator since August 1994, I finally got the bug to upgrade and in May 1997 upgraded to Tech Plus, then in August 8, 1997 to General. On January 24th, 1998 I upgraded again to Advanced, and in April of 2002 I applied for and received the Vanity Callsign WB5EN. The Ham bug hit again, and I spent part of May studing for the Extra Class, took the exam and passed. About 2 weeks later I noticed that NE5B was available, so I applied for and received it through the Vanity program in June 2002.

The Home QTH is Ellinger TX, which is on the small scale halfway between La Grange (146.800) and Columbus (146.140), (12 miles to either town) or on a Larger Scale halfway between Houston (146.660) and Austin (146.940) - 75 miles to either city. Click here Pictures of my HF Antenna Arrangement.
